I would say it's still fun, but having friends that play with you at the same time makes it much better!

It Depends, If You Have NSO [Nintendo Switch Online] Then Yes Because Then You Get The DLC With It For Free, And You Can Play Online. But IF You Don't Have NSO Then No. Unless You Are A Introvert Or Are Patient.
