Greetings! I just wanted to know about the banner contest. Are there any guidelines to follow, or can we do whatever we want as long as your Mii is present?

I had an idea for a more humorous version of my banner, but I wasn't sure if I risked being disqualified for not following the guidelines. That's why I wanted to know before posting. Please comment on your answer if possible, and if you have any guidelines to share, please post a detailed explanation of what is and isn't required for me and the other participants.
